New director previously led Ulju Arts and Culture Center
Ulsan's Buk-gu district announced Sunday that it has appointed Hyeon Suk-hee, former director of the Ulju Arts and Culture Center, as the new director of the Buk-gu Arts and Culture Center. The two-year term runs through October 2028.
Hyeon has built a career spanning both the arts and arts administration, having served as a choreographer and instructor with the Ulsan Metropolitan Dance Company and as a professor in the performance and musical theater department at Youngsan University. Hyeon also previously served as director of the Ulsan Arts and Culture Education Center and the Ulju Arts and Culture Center.
"I will do my best to create programs that everyone can enjoy, so that residents of Ulsan's Buk-gu can experience the joy of arts and culture up close," Hyeon said.
