Bucheon will refund customers up to 30% of their purchase price in Onuri gift certificates when they buy domestic seafood.
Purchases must be made at one of five traditional markets in the city: Gangnam Market, Bucheon Jeil Market, Yeokgok Nambu Market, Yeokgok Sangsang Market and Wonjong Jungang Market.
A total of 57 stores are participating in the event, which runs June 10–14.
To claim the rebate, customers must bring their purchase receipt and a form of identification — either a national ID or a mobile phone — to the refund booth, or customer support center, inside the market.
Shoppers who spend between 34,000 won ($22) and 66,999 won will receive a 10,000-won Onuri gift certificate, while those spending 67,000 won or more will receive 20,000 won. The maximum rebate per person is 20,000 won.
