North Gyeongsang welfare center takes families of people with disabilities on Jeju Island trip

The Yeongyang branch of the North Gyeongsang Provincial Welfare Center for People with Disabilities held a two-night, three-day family outing on Jeju Island beginning Tuesday, bringing together families of people with disabilities for a trip the program dubbed "Our Family Love: Totally Fooled by Jeju."

The outing was organized to strengthen emotional bonds within families of people with disabilities and to provide cultural and leisure activities. Participants explored Jeju Island's natural scenery together, spending time communicating and building connections as families.

"I hope this family outing gave families of people with disabilities a chance to rest and recharge," branch director Lee Hui-ja said. "We will continue to run a variety of programs to support the well-being of these families."
