Gyeongbuk Health College conducts K-U City Project field inspection

Gyeongbuk Health College held a field inspection of its K-U City Project on June 10 at a multipurpose conference room on the second floor of the main administration building, with officials from Gimcheon city and North Gyeongsang Province in attendance.

The inspection was organized to review the project's operational status and discuss its future direction.

Participants shared updates on project progress and key achievements, the status of industry-academia cooperation, and the results of education programs linked to regional industries, then explored ways to advance the initiative.

The college's Smart Logistics Department has been strengthening field-centered education through partnerships with local businesses.

The department has built an industry-academia cooperation network spanning 33 companies and related organizations — among them Ulsan Port Authority, Coupang Inc. Fulfillment Service, Snow Peak Korea, Youngjin Pharmaceutical, SK Corp Shielders, Gyeongbuk Technopark, Vroong, GS Networks' Gyeongsan logistics center and the Korea Logistics Manager Association.

Chae Seung-yong, head of the college's industry-academia cooperation foundation, said the college would continue expanding education and partnerships that reflect regional industry needs, with the goal of developing skilled professionals in smart logistics and cultivating talent committed to staying in the region.
