Samsung Life announced Thursday that its "AI CX Writing System" won the grand prize in the AI transformation innovation category — the Ministry of Science and ICT minister award — at ICT Award Korea 2026.

ICT Award Korea is an annual ceremony organized by the Korea Information Science Promotion Association since 2004, aimed at recognizing innovative companies in the ICT sector and strengthening their competitiveness.

This year, 211 companies competed across six categories — including AI transformation innovation, applications, websites and digital solutions — going through preliminary and final rounds of judging.

Samsung Life's AI CX Writing System took first place in the AI transformation innovation category, earning high marks for its redesign of work processes using AI technology and its achievements in improving user experience and productivity.

Samsung Life has focused on building a customer-centered CX writing framework to deliver content that customers can easily read, understand and act on. More recently, the company integrated generative AI into the framework, introducing an automated system that helps employees quickly draft and review customer-facing content, streamlining the overall content production process.

The AI CX Writing System was developed by combining the generative AI technology FabriX AI with Samsung Life's own CX writing guide. Employees can draft customer communications by entering just a few keywords, and the system can also refine existing content into natural, easy-to-understand language.

The system automatically adjusts sentence length, structure and phrasing to suit different communication channels such as text messages and emails. Users can also enter a prompt specifying what they want, and the system will regenerate the text accordingly.

A proofreading function converts difficult financial jargon and internal company expressions into plain everyday language, and replaces Chinese-character terms and loanwords with native Korean equivalents. The system also standardizes expressions, punctuation and unit notation that previously varied across content, and automatically checks spelling, spacing and typographical errors to ensure clear and accurate information.

"Adopting AI technology goes beyond simply improving work efficiency — it is a key factor in making communication with customers smoother," a Samsung Life official said. "We will continue to advance AI transformation and strengthen customer-centered service to deliver an even better customer experience."
