Krafton, the developer behind the globally successful PUBG franchise, pledged Thursday to keep pushing bold creative boundaries — aiming to spark a second phenomenon by partnering with studios across diverse genres and styles.

"We will move forward boldly toward the dream of making games that are simply fun — because they're made by Krafton," said Jang Tae-seok, the company's head of global publishing and PUBG franchise, at Gamescom 2026, the world's largest gaming expo, held Thursday in Cologne, Germany.

At the event, Krafton introduced the development backgrounds and core gameplay of five new titles: NO LAW, Project ZETA, Age Twisters, TARAE: The Unbound and PUBG: DED.NET.

All five titles are on display at Krafton's booth in Hall 9, where attendees can play them hands-on.

NO LAW is set in a lawless city called Port Desire, where player choices and actions generate new opportunities and threats, each playthrough producing a different story. The game delivers a highly immersive open-world experience in which players craft their own playstyle and narrative.

Project ZETA strips away the traditional lane structure of the MOBA genre, instead pitting four teams of three against each other in a contest for key objectives from the very start of each match. The design prioritizes fast, high-density combat, focusing on the tension and excitement MOBA fans want rather than following established genre conventions.

Age Twisters follows a grandfather and granddaughter as they adventure across four life stages — child, youth, adult and elder. The abilities unique to each age and the characters' evolving dialogue weave generational differences into both the gameplay and the storyline.

TARAE: The Unbound blends a world built around the Buddhist concept of the six realms of existence and karma with the aesthetics and imagination of 15th- to 17th-century East Asian culture. The game features classes inspired by Eastern history and culture, including the "Mansin," "Chakho Gapsa," "Pungsu-sa" and "Kunoichi."

PUBG: DED.NET reinterprets the survival and competitive experience accumulated through PUBG: Battlegrounds in a new form of gameplay. Set in a new world called "Cascadia, 1996," inspired by the Pacific Northwest of the United States in the 1990s, the title extends the PUBG identity in a fresh direction.

"Making games that are remembered for a long time is hard, and it takes a long time," Jang said. "There are no shortcuts, no easy roads. Just as PUBG endured that journey and reached its fans, I hope the games on this stage today will ultimately reach fans and be loved."
