Gyeongbuk Health University beauty department holds alumni guest lecture

Gyeongbuk Health University held a guest lecture for students in its beauty design department Monday, as part of an alumni relay career series titled "The Sunbae Have Returned," at the esthetics room on the third floor of the Techno Art Building on campus.

The lecturer, Park Hye-jung, is a graduate of Gyeongbuk Health University and currently runs Mirtebaihyejeong, a beauty clinic she directs.

Park led a two-hour session on "mid-face management for a celebrity youthful look," sharing hands-on knowledge of mid-face care and practical tips applicable to real client treatment.

Drawing on her experience in the beauty industry, she also discussed with students the mindset needed when preparing to enter the workforce and the skills required to adapt to a professional environment.

"This lecture was a meaningful opportunity for students to hear firsthand from an alumna active in the field — helping them set concrete career goals and deepen their understanding of the workplace," university President Lee Eun-jik said.
