HXD Hwaseong Development marks 49th founding anniversary

HXD Hwaseong Development held a ceremony at its headquarters Tuesday to mark the company's 49th founding anniversary, with executives and employees in attendance.

The event recognized staff who delivered results over the past year and presented commendations to outstanding employees, including those with 30 years of continuous service, model workers and safety and health management officers.

In his commemorative address, Chairman Lee Hong-jung said that since the company's founding in 1977, it had pursued a mission of "creating pleasant environments and building livable cities," describing the journey as one of relentless growth for the happiness of people, nature and cities — as well as a path of overcoming countless challenges and obstacles.

He added that despite the recent slump in the regional pre-sale and construction markets, the company should, as it always had, pool its accumulated technical expertise and quality capabilities to find a way forward.
