Company operates dedicated booth at K-startup festival KOOM Week
Nongshim announced Friday that it is participating in KOOM Week 2026, a K-startup festival in Manhattan, New York, to mark the 40th anniversary of its Shin Ramyun brand.
The five-day event runs Wednesday through Sunday in Manhattan's Flatiron district. Nongshim, attending for the second consecutive year, is operating a dedicated "Nongshim Pavilion" booth centered on Shin Ramyun.
The company aims to share how Shin Ramyun grew into South Korea's flagship K-ramyun, now sold in more than 100 countries, and to convey to startup founders and investors the growth potential that challenge and innovation can unlock.
Outside the venue, Nongshim is running a food truck in collaboration with New York dining brand Everydaily. The truck serves a menu developed from existing products — including a Shin Ramyun pork cutlet burger, Chapagetti tteokbokki and Shin Ramyun Tomba tteokbokki — offering visitors a fresh take on K-food.
"On the 40th anniversary of Shin Ramyun's launch, we are able to share the brand's heritage with founders and investors in New York, where K-brands and K-culture come together," a Nongshim official said. "We will continue to spread Nongshim's spirit of challenge and innovation on the global stage through a variety of touchpoints."
