14일(현지시간) 인도 북부 잠무에서 한 상인이 10루피짜리 지폐로 결혼식 등 공개행사에 사용되는 축하 화환을 만들고 있다. 글로벌 경기침체에 따른 인도 경제성장 둔화 우려와 이로 인한 외국인 투자자 이탈로 루피화 가치는 달러대비 최근 일주일 사이 4% 하락하는 등 역대 최저치로 떨어졌다. 루피화 가치 폭락으로 연료비와 식량값 급등 등 극심한 물가상승이 우려되고 있다.
