지난 1일(현지시간) 미국 테네시주 멤피스에서 열린 ‘빌 피켓 로데오’에서 한 흑인이 소와의 격투(Bull dogging) 종목에 참가하고 있다. 이 대회는 초창기 ‘로데오 영웅’으로 불렸던 흑인 빌 피켓(1870~1932)을 기리기 위해 만들어진 것으로 흑인들만 출전할 수 있다.
