8일(현지시간) 독일 프랑크푸르트의 유럽중앙은행(ECB) 건물 앞에 주차돼 있는 덤프트럭이 마치 유로화 조각상을 떠받치고 있는 듯하다.

마리오 드라기 ECB 총재는 이날 “ECB가 두 차례의 장기대출 등을 통해 유로존(유로화 사용 17개국) 안정에 할만큼 했다”면서 “이제는 역내 정부와 은행이 행동할 때”라고 촉구했다. 또 통화 정책이 그간의 특별 기조에서 물가 관리 우선이라는 정상 차원으로 복귀할 것임을 시사했다.
